6th Jul | Conduce Partner with Innovation Centre to provide High Speed Internet

Conduce IT Services
Conduce have been selected by Warwickshire County Council to provide & manage a High Speed Fibre based Internet facility for the impressive Eliot Park Innovation Centre on the outskirts of Nuneaton.

The award-winning Innovation Centre provides high quality office space from 25 sq m (269 sq ft) to 179 sq m (1927 sq ft), and is designed to be the perfect environment to nurture small to medium sized enterprises wanting to grow and develop.

As well as providing business support, Eliot Park Innovation Centre is also one of the country’s most environmentally-friendly buildings, winning a host of awards for its green credentials.

Steve Russell Conduce CEO stated – “Conduce moved into Eliot Park several years ago & it is a fantastic facility.  The one problem has been the lack of cost effective high speed Internet access.  This new low cost high speed fibre facility will make Eliot Park the premier office accommodation within 50 miles, for companies that require fast unlimited internet access within a superb working environment”.

When Eliot Park was commissioned it was normal to provide Internet access by standard copper based ADSL.  This new high speed fibre connection is able to provide for the internet needs of the entire building (currently 20+ tenants) and will also provide adequate expansion bandwidth for the medium term.  The initial connection is being provided via a 100MB fibre bearer with 50MB taken up from day 1.  Future provision of a 1GB facility can be supported, as and when the need arises.

Duncan Haldane Eliot Park Centre manager commented “We have been working on this project for some time.  Coming up with a cost effective & fast flexible connection has required substantial investment & we now look forward to providing our tenants with this excellent service at an unbelievably low cost.

The new service is currently being commissioned and Eliot Park is taking bandwidth orders from the tenants for provision of the service from September 2010.
