AFIRS Integration

AFIRS is an acronym for Automated Flight Information Reporting System. AFIRS uses Iridium’s global satellite network to send a variety of data from an aircraft to ground control.

AFIRS includes automated OOOI times amongst other data, including engine trends, fuel management and FOQA exceedance reporting. More information on AFIRS can be found here.
